THE JOB
The Brand Director leads day-to-day relationship and activities of Live Nation’s strategic marketing partnership with our top corporate brands within our team’s portfolio of management. This role will have an emphasis on festivals and digital engagement platforms and may work across multiple categories, with a primary focus in the FinTech space. You will be directly involved in maximizing the value of the client relationship and performance of client’s entertainment marketing programs with a focus on:

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Represents Live Nation with a commitment to integrity, respect for others, inclusivity, collaboration and professionalism
Provides professional, responsive service to and communication with clients that ultimately exceeds expectations and builds trust between the client and Live Nation
Owns the successful delivery of the full lifecycle of sponsorship programs including planning, execution, measurement, and reporting that optimizes client Net Promoter Scores (NPS) & sponsorship renewals
Commands strategic client meetings throughout the year (e.g., periodic status meetings, mid-campaign reviews, end-of-year recap/renewal discussions), driving alignment between Live Nation and clients on strategy, delivery, and partnership performance.
Directs the strategic planning and execution of key client activations across Live Nation assets, including venues, festivals, promotions, media, hospitality, and content programs
Drive the financial strategy of sponsorship programs by translating forecasts and performance data into actionable insights, guiding optimization and investment decisions, and partnering with finance leadership to ensure alignment on reporting and revenue recognition.
Owns the definition of program Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that Live Nation can directly impact and manages the measurement and optimization of those performance metrics
Explores, applies and shares cutting-edge marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to strategically enhance sponsorship programs and foster team-wide learning and development.
Champions and drives department wide development initiatives that improve overall team efficiency and effectiveness
Develops, grows, and optimizes relationships with key Live Nation teams (i.e., Digital and Social Media, Promotions, Talent, Content Production, Legal, Finance, Research, etc.) to ensure the desired program delivery and results for clients
Focuses on growing senior key client relationships that impact strategic direction of partnership, renewals and growth as well exploring and delivering unreasonable hospitality experiences
Serves as a primary partner to the VP of Brand Management, Creative team, and Integrated Marketing team, taking a lead role in developing strategic client roadmaps, creative programs, and new business/growth opportunities.
Reviews, edits, and strategically negotiates relevant deal points and contracts for prospective client programs, collaborating actively with Sales and Legal teams to finalize contractual agreements for new sponsors
Leads and champions peer support and mentorship initiatives, actively facilitating the assimilation of new staff into Live Nation and guiding the professional growth of early-career professionals and College Associates/Interns
Stewards’ critical internal engagement activities tied to brand partnerships including strategic account reviews and annual planning, internal check-ins, and renewal roadmaps
Develops detailed knowledge of client's industry/business and leverages insights to create and close incremental business development opportunities
Critically analyze how Live Nation is investing resources (people, budgets, focus, etc.) in the delivery of client programs to achieve and exceed objectives and expectations
Prepare mitigation plans and thoroughly understand financial implications on both client performance and Live Nation (i.e. artists, festivals, operations, venues)
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
9-12 years of direct experience in brand or account management, client service, media, or entertainment, and/or marketing consulting, advertising or activation agencies
5+ years of employee and/or agency team management experience
Experience managing a portfolio of customers or clients with $5M+ in annual revenue
The ideal candidate will have experience with FinTech brands, loyalty platforms, product marketing and go-to-market strategy development
Strong project management skills including ability to communicate, prioritize, manage, and organize simultaneous projects and deadlines
Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation and visual storytelling
A proactive, collaborative, and organized working style
Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships internally and externally
Track record of working with recognizable global brands and growing client relationships
Experience with marketing programs across physical and digital components
Record of success building, selling, and delivering innovative marketing programs with measurable results
Knowledge of consumer and market research with ability to integrate sponsorship program recommendations, recaps and other client-oriented communications
Proficiency in enterprise technology platforms including AI, Microsoft Office, Keynote, Salesforce, Slack, Asana, Tableau or other relevant applications
Strong passion for branding, marketing, and the music industry including knowledge of relevant artists and industry trends
Ability to travel up to 30% of time or more in season, often nights and weekends and occasionally without significant advanced notice
Strong financial management skills including ability to manage multiyear budgets and forecast with confidence
Ability to examine and interpret results, auditing for errors and highlighting opportunities and trends
Ability to proactively identify potential problems and utilize sound decision making to implement the best solutions, relying on managers to provide input and solutions only when necessary
Ability to use data-informed decision making across program enhancements, budgeting and optimization partnerships

The expected compensation for this position is: $100,000 - $110,000 USD.
